Forgive me Lord for I have sinned
And deep inside I know I will sin again
But I'm sure I haven't reached a dead end
For you have always forgiven me over and over again
My Lord You are full of forgiveness
My Lord You are full of love
My Lord I am full of hatred
My Lord I am full of lust
I am sinful, I live in fear
I cannot stop myself from lying, from destroying
All of this weight that I cannot bear
But You have always been there, keeping me from dying
You sent Your son to die for my sins
You sent Your son to die uneasily
You sent Your son to be tortured, to be killed
And all of this has always been for me
Truly what a God You are!
Caring for everyone but Yourself
Truly what a God You are!
Loving everyone but Yourself
And now, I come to You as a man
I come to You as a human being
I come to You as humbled as I can
To ask You for my most desired thing,
Your forgiveness.
